Louis Vuitton seeks candidates for Assistant Store Director of its new flagship store opening at the Crystals, City Center Las Vegas.
The Assistant Store Director will develop the business in line with brand strategy and assist the Store Director in the in overall management of the store, staff, merchandise and customer service. The Assistant Store Director will also assist in achieving sales objectives, build highly motivated teams and help develop associates to the next level.
Customer Service
Assist category managers (Leather Goods, Ready-to-Wear, Shoes, Accessories, Operations) and sales associates with various customer service issues which include, but are not limited to the following: repairs, returns, defective merchandise, dissatisfied customers, maintaining the highest degree of customer service.
Operations
Shared responsibility for P&L for the store.
Assist in developing store according to brand’s objectives with regard to the merchandise mix.
Maintain inventory accuracy and shrink rates within company standards by regularly following up w/operations and executing initiatives as needed.
Store Visuals
Maintain merchandising standards as set forth by corporate visual department.
Human Resources
Assist in staffing and recruiting function for non-exempt (Sales Associates, Stock, Supervisors) and exempt (Category Managers) in close cooperation with the Human Resources Department.
Supervise store personnel and enforce company policies.
Exhibit strong interpersonal skills in dealing with staff, peers, supervisors and the NY and Paris corporate office.
Develop and continuously motivate sales team.
Profile:
B.A./B.S.
Minimum of 5-8 years Retail experience
Multi-category experience in luxury retail
Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively in writing
Ability to work independently, as well as in collaboration with category managers and human resources
Ability to motivate sales teams
Exceptional organizational skills
Prior experience in visual merchandising and multi-store management is a plus
